My DOST Pag Asa Seminar Workshop Experience
My Team during DOST Media Workshop It was a very fun, amazing learning experience. I must say that as a blogger, this is the best event I have attended so far.. My excitement got even more intense as I arrived at the venue… Met participants from different agencies/media people like CNN, TV25, ABS-CBN, GMA, Redcross, Inquirer,DZMM Radio, DOST team, and co -bloggers. We formed a very good team excited to learn … Lectures really gave wider point of view of what PAG ASA DOST is all about: how they started, system flow in weather broadcasting, their departments. Lectures were all informative as the facilitators went into details, explained things in a simplified form . We learned the weather systems affecting the country , The PRD functions and its services, The PAGASA Forecasting and Warning System, The Associated Hazards of La Nina/ Storm Surge, The Climatological and Agroment Services/Philippine Climate, The Tropical Cyclone Trends. They also gave update about El Nino and La Nina.
